Human Characters

BISMILLAHIRAHMANIRRAHIM & 

ASSALAMUALAIKUM 

This particular input are the results from my class of Biotechnology, Law and Ethics. Classes with Dr. Razak never fail to amaze me. Why? He will always come out with verses from Al-Quran and his explanation make them easier to relate to the current world. 

HUMAN CHARACTERS 

Positive traits

• Al-Bayan 

"[And] taught him eloquence." (Ar-Rahman:4)

• Al-Ilm

"Taught man that which he knew not." (Al-'Alaq:5)

• Al-Taqwim Al-Hasan

"We have certainly created man in the best of stature;" (At-Tin:4)

• Al-Nazar Al-Itibar

All this positive given my The Creator to human. Human are all good by nature. Why? Allah made it like that. It is His Will. So, never say that you're bad or not good by nature (if you want to say that). 

These are all God-given characters. 

How about Negative traits? 

• Al-Dhaif and Al-Ya`is

"And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak." (An-Nisa: 28)

`Ajul and Qatur

"Man was created of haste. I will show you My signs, so do not impatiently urge Me." (Al-Anbiyaa: 37)

Zalum and Jahul 

"Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant." (Al-Ahzab: 72)

Jadal and Halu`a

"Indeed, mankind was created anxious:" (Al-Ma`arij: 19)

Man have these characters due several factors including education, environment, knowledge and etc. How we are going to remove this traits? Yes, by learning, improving, reading and repent. 

Sometime, we will not know that we are actually doing mistakes until someone else talk about it. So, surround yourself with true friends who can help you and pull you back to the right path instead of those who let you astray towards the hateful place by the end of the world which is hell.
